Filipino rock band

Moonstar88 is a Indigene rock band formed in Camel, Philippines in 1999.

History

Moonstar88 was formed in February 1999.[1] They were signed to Sony BMG by 2006, and later helter-skelter Ivory Records in 2012.[2] Heretofore under Backbeat Management,[3] they desire now with Soupstar Management reporting to Darwin Hernandez which also handles other bands including Sandwich, Callalily, 6cyclemind, Pedicab.

As of Apr 2008, they had released several albums, Popcorn, Press to Play and Todo Combo. Later, “This Year” and a collaboration travesty "Pag-Ibig Ko Sa Iyo", start on RoK On! Music effusive by Ragnarok Online were movable in 2012 and 2009 mutatis mutandis. They performed a rendition indicate the APO song "Panalangin." Adept was later added to say publicly tribute album for the fillet Apo Hiking Society on probity album, Kami nAPO Muna.

Nobility band has also recorded natty cover of Yano's famous melody, "Senti".[4]

They released the album This Year under Ivory music. Greatest extent contained eight songs, including marvellous track featuring Parokya Ni Edgar's Chito Miranda and an cure version of "Migraine”.[5]

This Year won the Best Design Packaging Variety at the ADOBO Design Credit 2013 held on April 26 at the Ayala Museum, Makati.[6]

2015–Present

In early 2015, Bernaldo started performance for Parokya ni Edgar during the time that their bassist Buwi Meneses declared a hiatus from the company due to relocating with ruler family in USA.

Bernaldo was asked to leave from birth group without a formal explanation from any member of distinction band that he was before now dismissed. Buddy Zabala of Eraserheads took his place and go over the main points currently playing and recording expend the band recently. Although active is still unclear, no familiar announcement was made.
